Paper art

An artistic expression where the uncovered fibre-plant is the rawmaterial. I use traditional European materials as flax and cotton, but also Asian fibres that has been in use for hundred of years in their handpapermaking.

The pulp, which I make myself in my own little paper-mill, is formed into sheets which is used for printing and binding hand-made books. The pulp is also used for making sculptures and for pictures where the composion is represented by a glazing technique using coloured fibres.
